Dynamic Damping Gas Strut, also called dynamic damping gas spring, has a special longitudinal groove inside the pressure tube. The dampening effect is obtained from this groove, and the groove behave just like holes on the piston of standard gas springs. By increasing or reducing the groove cross section, the speed of motion over the entire stroke can be adjusted as desired.
